We have visited several times in Bangladesh during the last decade or so. While our main goal is to promote international cooperation in education and training, we have also been active in helping various organizations to recruit skillful and hardworking people from several Asian and Affican countries.

Open Academic Europe ry tokk part in the study on privately run primary and secondary schools in Ghana. This research included indepth look at the pricing levels, possibilities of Finland to help develop the school sector in general in Ghana. Our team also visited 12+ institutions of education, and met with authorities on both education and municipal governments.

One of the most acute issues in Finland - as in all Europe - is the ageing population and the ever growing demand of healthcare workforce. Consequently, for several years there have been various projects aiming at bringing nurses, doctors and other care sector professionals to Europe from Asia, where the population is a lot younger and there is a lot of awailable workforce in offer. This cooperation includes extensive measures on the education sector in both sending and receibving countries.
